Welcome to our new race Birken 5KM - AKTIV against cancer Saturday June 15th.
Start and finish at Stampesletta Haakons Hall, Lillehammer. The track is in beautiful sourrondings around Maihaugen.
In this non competative charity run there will be no timing, and EVEYBODY from the age of 10 years old by 31.12.2019 can join.

AKTIV against cancer
50 % of the income from the race Birken 5KM - AKTIV against cancer will be donated to the charitable foundation AKITV against cancer.
The entry fee is NOK 220,- included license, and NOK 100,- from each entry fee will be donated to the charitable foundation AKTIV against cancer to help their important work.
AKTIV Against Cancer was founded by Norwegian national icon and nine-time New York City Marathon champion, Grete Waitz, and Helle Aanesen in Norway in 2007. After donating more than $14M and helping to create 16 physical activity centers in cancer treatment facilities throughout Norway, AKTIV Against Cancer established its official 501(c)(3) presence in the United States in 2014.
Start and finish at Stampesletta Haakons Hall, Lillehammer.
The 5 km track takes you around Maihaugen in beatiful sourrondings.
Food- and drink stations
In addition to the dring and food station at finish, there will also be a drink station along the track
Starting times and classes
Start at 13.00
Birken 5KM - AKTIV against cancer is a non competative race without timing, and therefore no classes.
Everyone by the age 10 years and older by 31.12.2019 can join.
All competitors recieves prizes in this non competative charitable race.

The BIB must be visible at all times during the race. For your own safety it is not allowed to wear another participants BIB.
Identification must be provided in case of random control.
For your and others safety it is not allowd to use any form of audio during the race.
Littering along the course is not allowed. Please bring your own litter to the nearest food station / finish.

Bus and parking
Free shuttle buses to start at Birkebeineren Ski stadium
Departure from Kleivbakken behind Håkons Hall between 07.30 to 18.00. the bus ride will take about 10 minutes.
Bus from Oslo to Lillehammer round trip Saturday June 9.
You need to order in advance at My Page June 14. at 20.00 at the latest
- From Oslo Bussterminal to Lillehammer, start 05.30, kr 380,-
- From Olavsgaard to Lillehammer, start 05.50, kr 380,-
- From Lillehammer to Oslo 16.30 kr. 380,-
Bus to start UltraBirken run and Birken fjellmaraton
Departure from Håkons Hall to start at Sjusjøen 06.30.

Parking NOK 75,-.
All participants, including foreigners, must have a valid license to enter Norwegian running events.
All participants age 13-79 must have a valid licence to start in running events in Norway. If you have a valid licence through your team, bring your licence card when you retrieve your BIB.
The licence is not included in the entry fee. It can be purchased when entering, through your My Page, or at the race office when retrieving your BIB.
Exception: Birken 5KM - AKTIV against cancer: Licence is included in the entry fee.

All start numbers not retrieved in Håkons Hall by Friday at 22.00 is brought to the race office in the start area during the night. There is no pick up in Håkons Hall on the day of the race.
