Opening weekend for WinterBirken QR a great experience!

With temperature down to below 20 in the morning, it was a cold start for the most eager participants the opening Saturday of WinterBirken QR. But as the sun appeared, and with perfect conditions in the trail, it turned out to be a fantastic outing.

The relatively few entrants, and the vast mountain terrain, makes this a perfect race without any covid fear.
The participants, and other skiers in need of a little break, was greeted by Birken employees, clad in masks and gloves, serving up the lates Birken news as well as hotdogs and drinks, at Kvarstad.

WinterBirken QR is a public health activity in the period February 6th to March 7th. You participate by scanning all five QR-codes during the period. Enter the race any day you want, with whoever you want.
Please note that the foodstation is available only on Saturdays between 10.00 - 15.00.
