With the Birkebeiner Triple, you get an exciting training goal for the whole year, challenging yourself on skis, on foot and bike. The Triple is a unique challenge where you complete Birkebeiner races in all three disciplines within a single year. New for 2025, you can choose from alternative options for each event:

• Birkebeinerrennet (alternatively: TurBirken Ski / SkøyteBirken)
• Birkebeinerløpet (alternatively: UltraBirken Løp / Birken Fjellmaraton) 
• Birkebeinerrittet  (alternatively: UltraBirken Cycle / All-Road/Gravelklasse in Birkebeinerrittet) 

No matter which options you choose, you will earn the title "Birkebeiner of the Year" once you complete all three events within the same calendar year!

Results Birkebeiner of the year

• Ranked results: All that finishes in ranked classes in Birkebeinerrennet, Birkebeinerrittet and Birkebeinerløpet (exeptipon: the All-Road, Trim and El-Bike class in Birkebeinerrittet).
• Alphabetical results: All that finishes Birkebeinertrippelen with some of the alternative races: TurBirken ski 54, SkøyteBirken, UltraBirken run, Birken fjellmaraton, UltraBirken cycle, All-Road class, Trim or El-Bike in Birkebeinerrittet.

"SuperBirkebeiner"
To become a "SuperBirkebeiner" in the Birkebeiner Triple, you must complete and finish with the official time in all three main events: Birkebinerrennet, Birkebeinerrittet and Birkebeinerløpet within the same calendar year. Regardless of which alternatives you choose when registering, it is important to complete and finish with the official time in each event to qualify for the title "SuperBirkebeiner".

Prizes
Prizes and diplomas will be given at the last race in Birkebeinertrippelen at Birken cycle. All finishers recieve a Birkebeiner plate from our prize collection! Prize seremoni for top 3 totalt and top 3 in each class at stage outside Håkons Hall.

• NOK 10.000,- for best man and best woman in total
• Prizes and diplomas must be picked up in Håkons Hall during Birken cycle.
• All from the age 17 years old by 31.12 in the race year can participate.

If you wish to switch events, for example, to participate in SkøyteBirken instead of Birkebeinerrennet, this can be done manually after registration. Please contact us!
